Exciting Opportunity for an Optometrist in South Sound/Puyallup/University Place/Gig Harbor, WA
Established in 1991, Cascade Eye & Skin Centers, P.C. is a unique group practice of over 40 medical professionals, offering a comprehensive mix of ophthalmology, dermatology, and aesthetic services and products. Our Ophthalmology team consists of comprehensive ophthalmologists, glaucoma, cornea and retinal specialists, oculo-plastics and optometrists.
As the largest practice of its kind in the Pacific Northwest, Cascade serves a market area of over 1 million people from our six office locations in Pierce, Thurston and King County. Our surgeons perform over 2,000 procedures annually in our physician-owned, fully accredited, two-room ASC.
Our experienced management team and medical support staff work together with our providers to deliver premier quality care to residents of the South Puget Sound region, and beyond.

Essential Job Functions:
Routine eye exams and medical based optometry
Diagnose and treat refractive disorders
Diagnose and treat ocular disorders
Examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases, injuries and disorders of the visual system, the eye, and associated structures
Identify related systemic conditions affecting the eye
Partner with Ophthalmologists and other specialists to provide appropriate care for patients
Co-management of post operative patients
Contact lens fittings
Optical showroom

Requirements
Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.), residency preferred
State professional license
Valid driver’s license
TPA certified
Ability to work independently
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills
