Description

Locums Gastroenterology Physician in Kingsport, Tennessee - 1-2 Weeks Per Month

Take advantage of flexible coverage blocks in a hospital-based GI practice with ERCP-focused procedures.

Practice & Cases

- Inpatient consult service with hospital-based procedures

- General GI coverage including GI bleeds, abdominal pain, food bolus, and elevated liver enzymes

- ERCP required; EUS not required

- Support from endoscopy nursing and OR teams

Schedule

- One- to two-week coverage blocks

- 24-hour call coverage during assigned weeks

- Daily workflow includes rounding, consults, and procedures

- Time between assignments for schedule flexibility

Requirements

- Must be an MD or DO

- Board Certified in Gastroenterology

- Active Tennessee license or Open to IMLC Physicians with an Active IMLC LOQ

- ACLS, BLS, DEA, and ERCP experience required

Logistics

- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage provided

- Travel accommodations coordinated for scheduled coverage blocks
