Description

Established and successful Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics practice seeking a professional, experienced Physician Assistant. The position will provide significant autonomy, and as such, requires previous experience in the field of aesthetic and medical dermatology, and/or plastic surgery. Responsibilities will be split between the care of surgical patients and providing medical aesthetic skincare services.

We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates. This position is paid hourly plus commission, with no cap on how much you can make. 

We are looking for a special individual to join our team, and serve in an independent, but integrated role. Your schedule will be separate from the surgeon practicing on site. You will be expected to grow your own practice while enjoying the instantaneous referral base offered by Dr. Christine Rodgers. You will be given marketing and clinical support.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive, and organized individual with detail-oriented work ethic. Candidate should possess the ability to multitask efficiently while still providing compassionate, customer service-based patient care. Excellent time management skills and a proficiency and desire to work independently in a small team environment are a must.

Responsibilities Include:

· Clinic-based and occasional hospital-based patient care

· Patient assessment, physical examination, pre-operative and post-operative care of the patient

· Round on and discharge patients from hospital

· Educate patients on surgical and aesthetic procedures

· Manage surgical wounds

· Maintain medical records

· Manage patient prescriptions

· Administer aesthetic injections and laser procedures

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment

· Perform other related duties as directed or required

Requirements

Experience:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Plastics or Dermatology

· Minimum 2 year' experience using injectable dermal filler/toxins

· Laser/light-based energy experience preferred

· Sales and marketing savvy

· Ability to build report and grow aesthetic practice

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Active PA Colorado state license and DEA license

· Must have a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills; friendly and engaging self-starter willing to contribute new ideas
